About Me

My Style

Private. Unhurried. Respectful. Whether it’s lingerie, fine art nude, or something in between, the session is built around trust, not a shot list. Consent isn’t a form you sign and forget. It’s the whole atmosphere

It's all about you

"Intimate work. Not lingerie catalogues. The kind of images a woman looks at later and thinks: that's actually me."

The Assassin Behind the Lens

I’m Rod. People close to me call me Rocket.

I work from Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays. The light here is honest. So is the work. People ask what kind of photographer I am. I used to joke. I don’t anymore. I photograph women who are finished performing. Boudoir, lingerie, fine art nude, surrender — the category is less important than the moment she stops hiding and something true arrives. My father put a camera in my hands. I spent years on weddings because I understood raw emotion. At thirty I sat in on a boudoir session and cried. Not because it was pretty. Because the female form was being treated as art, not decoration. That was the turn. Before this I was a chef. Same instinct: make something that looks like it was always meant to exist. Nothing extra. Nothing apologetic. My style is bold and it is mine. It is not for everyone. That is the point. If you want pretty pictures of a version of yourself you already know, there are other photographers. If you want the version that usually stays private — we should talk.

Let’s make something that still holds years from now.
